What Inspires You?

People ask quite often - what inspires you to make music? It's hard to describe... music is a universal language that everyone can speak and understand. It can paint a picture or be a postcard to a place or time you've never visited. We are inspired by beautiful and timeless things - the vast drama of nature, small acts of kindness, family bonds, togetherness. Does that come through in our music? I hope so! 🌲⛰☀️🎻🎼

What inspires me are the simple and little things in life. It's no exaggeration to say your music has brought me the kind of sheer delight and wholesome joy I hadn't known for so many, many years. Imagine an old man in a park, dancing about his walking stick (if no one is looking), listening to your music, or simply jaunting along in a small village with a spring in his step. Thanks to you, my times sitting on a stone wall in my favorite olive grove for some cheese and bread, and a little wine, while contemplating the world, are so much more special. Thank you, Greta, Willow, and Solana. Thanks so very much. William (Today I bought 4 of your albums and a T-shirt. Yay! Besides, having listened every day as I take my walks to a free download of Hummingbird, I was feeling quite guilty for not doing anything in return.)
